Why I Want To Be A Mark Warner Mum

See in my house we have a dilemma and it goes kind of like this: Let's Call the Whole Thing Off!

The problem with us isn't a North/South of the Watford Gap pronunciation problem with the letter "a" rather that I like the sun and he....... doesn't!
(In linguistics the Watford Gap has become oft-quoted as where England experiences its division of north and south dialects).

So, Aaron is yet to see us both in the same country at the same time, other than when we're at home... #violins

I dream of heading off with a bikini in my suitcase, while the husband couldn't think of anything worse!!!!  In fact he wears sunscreen just for the normal UK sun!

Where does Mark Warner come in?  Well they, if I win this competition, could send us all off skiing!

Bless my little Aaron, he could see Mummy and Daddy, together on a family holiday, for the first time, in a climate that we can all enjoy!  I know he'd try skiing as he is a little dare devil on his balance bike!  Anyhow, he is trying ice skating for the first time this Friday :-)

My dare devil boy!

Last year, when it snowed in the UK, both times he was sick inside looking out at it (he did get out a bit when better), but he only learned about snow angels after the snow had gone and has been talking about them ever since.

I would love to be on holiday with him and see him do his first excited snow angel.

I am sure he could master steering the skis ;-)

I have been a bit presumptious and thanks to Aldi, actually have my ski gear already - yep jacket and salopettes:

My boy longing to get better and out in the snow:

Enjoying the snow December 2012:

See Daddy only likes holidays where we're all wrapped up.  This was us on a family weekend away to Harwich October 2010 - glamourous huh? ;-)

We've been together 25 years this year and I have only ever got him on ONE sun holiday and I was in the pool alone while he hid under a parasol taking photos like THIS:

So you see! Skiing is the perfect compromise!!!! Our dare devil boy will get lots of activity to deal with his never ending energy levels and me/daddy can enjoy the snow/skiing and do what we do best, order room service LOL.

But seriously, with me currently being a SAHM it is the only way we are going to afford THAT sort of holiday! Oh and it'd be great to do it next year before Aaron starts school in September!!!!

After all, I have had my days in the sun, and I don't mind being the one to bend a little ;-) even if it is round a bush as I hurtle down a ski slope LOL!

Mark Warner, you wanted to know why I would be a great addition to the team.... well one reason is because I love reviewing days out and experiences and am getting quite a groove on with it look: reviews and I am good at putting holiday videos together, like: this.

Plus I have never been an ambassador for anyone before so you will get to pop my cherry and benefit from my bloggy puppy dog enthusiasm!!!!

Fingers crossed!

I'd love to see my boys on the slopes together:

So for now I have my nose pressed up against THIS "SHOP WINDOW" below as I hold my breath

    1. I hope it means that it is meant to be. I have spent a lot of time on their website and the stuff that is included is awesome. What I would add to my post now if the closing date had not past, is that we've never had a date night since he was born, so the childcare (and the fact that he's old enough not to be clingy now) would go down a TREAT! xxx

  9. Good luck! I bought MC all the Aldi ski gear for when the snow comes (it better had do!). My advice though, don't go skiing - go to the Arctic Circle to see the Northern Lights…it's amazing xx

  10. We have similar issues in our house. Er, well I like holidays full stop. OH refuses to go away at all - well, since having a child. Even in this country I struggle to get him to agree. I'm working on getting N to drop hints instead of me!
