I agree with the migrant benefits being cut - I recently heard a few days ago that the Scottish police have gone to Poland to do a huge recruitment drive because they feel hiring people from Poland to come here will make the migrants in Scotland feel more comfortable. There's loads of people waiting to apply to the SPD, that really made my blood boil to be honest. xElysehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10314473418116038749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1824547228125638907.post-14828821236779813832014-11-13T01:50:05.014+00:002014-11-13T01:50:05.014+00:00Ooh I love to get the condensed news now I don'...Ooh I love to get the condensed news now I don't have time to read a paper! It is great news for part-timers but it's terrible for all of the people who love to travel offpeak who now gain NOTHING from travelling after 09:30. Boris really is a bit of a buffoon. He loves travelling to other countries and seeing what we can do better (like cycling lanes etc) but he doesn't seem to take in that it is cheaper to travel around in Europe's greatest cities than in London. Seems a bit like shooting themselves in the foot. Also, if the travel card were e.g. 5 quid, I'd go into town regularly - maybe once or twice a week (20 - 40 pounds a month spent) whereas at 12 pounds, I'd avoid it as much as possible and maybe only go once every couple of months (6 pounds/month). As I said, shooting themselves in the foot. I can't believe a day travel card will be 12 quid. I remember when it went up t o 5 pounds and we were upset. It used to be called a Cheap Day Ticket, LOL.
