WIN a Month's Supply of Nestlé Cereal

At the end of January we received a month's supply of Nestlé cereal. I know! Lucky us!

It's March now, and we have some left, which reminds me I must tuck into those Cheerios!

Since receiving my adorable Nestlé Curiously Cinnamon I've already eaten and bought it again; been a fan of it for decades! I'm yet to buy some more Shreddies which I literally inhaled; I was even eating them in the evenings! I'd not ever tried them before so this review was worth it just for that.

Upon arrival, Aaron's favourite was Nestlé Shredded Wheat. He loves it because Grandma does.
This was his reaction below when I gave him a bowl. He'd just gone in from school and was so hungry he wanted some before taking his jacket off! I did take it off before letting him settle down to eat it, after taking a pic ;-) of course:

I recently realised I've had Aldi's Taste of America Cinnamon Chips in the cupboard for months, so I decided to do a taste test of the two of them. I started recording and Aaron walked in on me. As is the case with a lot of my You Tube videos I let him takeover and it worked. Clearly he is the true star of the brand that is "NewMumOnline"... Please watch through to the end as you'll see the two nutritional information slides where Nestlé comes out on top. Please watch on You Tube and like, comment and subscribe if you can. Thank you.

I must say, despite the FABULOUS packaging, neither Aaron nor I liked the Cookie Crisp. It has the potential to be a great cereal. Texture and everything really works, but both me and my son found it to be too salty. To the degree that we both only wanted to take no more than 1 spoonful. I checked it against Aaron's beloved Coco Pops, and yes, the salt content is higher, in the Cookie Crisp. As with any review, I am always going to give you our honest findings and that my dear reader is what they are. Like I am also being honest in the video, about not liking Aldi's cinnamon cereal despite me working closely with Aldi on their Special Buys range, and me being a loyal customer who shops there every week.

This is what Nestlé say about their cereals:
Each bowl is made with 100% whole grain, and all brands, apart from Shredded Wheat (which is 100% natural and great for the heart) are fortified with at least five vitamins and minerals. Parents can just look out for the green banner for peace of mind that they’re giving the whole family a great start to the day.
See Aaron knows what's good for him liking the Shredded Wheat, which incidentally Aldi does stock despite not stocking Curiously Cinnamon.

We all know the saying that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right? In fact, nutritionists recommend that breakfast should provide roughly one quarter of our daily calorie needs, and studies show those who skip breakfast may miss out on important nutrients which they are unlikely to make up during the rest of the day*. To ensure you don’t miss out on breakfast we’re offering you the opportunity to win a month’s supply of Nestlé Cereals. Fortified Nestlé Cereals contain at least five vitamins and minerals, andNestlé Cereals with the green banner are also made with whole grain. And at approx. 24p per bowl (including milk!) they’re a great value way to help you get a good start to the day. With over two dozen different varieties to choose from, your only difficulty will be picking which one to have!
