Country Kids over at Coombe Mill - I can See a Rainbow

Hi

Country Kids from Coombe Mill Family Farm Holidays Cornwall
It's been a bit of a tradition for Aaron and I to go for a really long "country" walk with my friend Sandra on Fridays, but this week we did it on Thursday.

We went to see the ponies, the ducks and had a very very long stroll.  We saw two spectacular rainbows and one of them was a complete arch, that we could see, totally unspoilt, from left to right.

As we were in the "country" it was unblocked on the horizon.  Sadly my camera could not take it all in, so I just have to rely on my memory and these photos which don't really do it justice.

We love the great outdoors and it is wonderful that Coombe Mill and their weekly linky celebrates all that we do with our kids in the fresh air.  Aaron is very energetic and needs to expend it outside as much as possible.  Bless him he has HEAPS of energy.

Bye for now,
Liska xx

  1. I really believe that being outdoors and expending some energy is so important to children, certainly it makes mine much calmer and more relaxed when they do come back indoors again. That was a striking rainbow, no pot of gold at the end then?

    1. I'd always thought of them as being half an arch, but for once, and for 1st time, I saw the whole horse-shoe shape, from horizon to horizon. Amazing but the camera could not capture it all.

  3. What an amazing rainbow! Thanks for adding this to the outdoor play link up too. I am so heartened to see so many parents getting outside with their little ones & I think for everyone's mental health spending time in nature is so important.

    1. I am glad you mentioned that. When I get "cabin fever" it is the ONLY thing that keeps me sane and Aaron LOVES being outdoors.
