50 Shades of The Divine Feminine

Fifty Shades of the Divine Feminine
There is an awakening happening and it is gathering pace and momentum as the Divine Feminine shows herself more and more. It has been building up for many years and is a transition that has long since been predicted.

Unfortunately, when huge changes remain only in "alternative" circles they don't snowball enough and don't reach the tipping point of the penny drop. Which is why sometimes things go mainstream.

The mainstream "face" of a movement is never the whole picture, just like the most wonderful of houses have quite humble looking front doors. As with a door, it is just a "way in", a "threshold", so that you take hold of where this movement is taking you.

50 Shades of Grey is a trilogy of books that I inhaled in a week on my Kindle, years ago. I think I read them February time 2012. What's interesting is some people say that the books weren't sexy enough, yet others say they only read books 1 and 2 as the third one wasn't. The third one was the marriage. Which showed the wholeness that a divine union can bring, so I think they are books that should be read in their entirety or not at all if they're not your bag.

But to dismiss the books is to miss a trick. Do you know how many hundreds of thousands of women went on to read other books in that niche, as a result of that mainstream introduction? I even know someone who WROTE an erotica book as a result of reading the trilogy. Female sexual expression has been suppressed for thousands of years. For a controlling reason. This current awakening is one that is necessary. If we are to reach the stage of enlightenment and elevation that we need to as a planet and race.

There are women who have been part of this divine feminine movement, who luckily for me, I have personally met, as I used to be an active Kundalini Yoga Teacher, as are both of them.

Anaiya Sophia has written Sacred Sexual Union. She sent it to me a year ago, but I have only read it in recent weeks. It explains so much. It also explains the source and origins of the current sexual dysfunction we see all around us. That took place in Atlantis. Divine sacred sexual union can be like a prayer, that elevates the couple and all around them. This ability has been suppressed but it is making a comeback. It begins with women, remembering who they are, becoming whole, and getting in touch with the divine feminine within them.

If you don't yet want to buy the book, you can watch some of her You Tube videos.

I know some of my readers will be more interested in the real life aspects of this, rather than the more esoteric elements. If you like regular people who call a spade a spade, then let me introduce you to Guru Kaur who is the second person I mentioned. She started the website Be The Woman You Were Born to Be. I have purposefully linked to the part of her website that has a podcast on it, because it is FREE and a really really good listen. Too many marriages break up because the woman is looking for the man to change. In that podcast, you can hear of changes that you yourself can make, that transform the situation you are in. Simply, because, the energy in the home is like a bowl, like a cradle, and it is us as women who hold, nurture and define that space. We set the "tone". So the changes we want to see, have to begin with us. Yes, it takes energy and guts and resolve. But we are the gender who can MAKE a baby. We CAN do this!

Just look at Elsa, with all of this in mind. Look at her clothes and posture at the beginning of the below video, and compare her to the end. Watch, sing along and LET IT GO!

Let's get back to 50 Shades. People's biggest criticism is that she was "controlled" but think of it a different way. She controlled him, by putting him firmly under her spell. She quite literally captivated him, and just like in Frozen, magic is banned! So Ana is controlled by Christian and Elsa is controlled in Frozen. Just like in Frozen, the transformation that Ana goes through via Christian means: "that perfect girl is gone" (a line from Let it Go).

Being subservient and perfect stops us from expressing who we are. Unleash the magic, and see what is inside ready to be tapped into. Your creative potential? Your inner magic? Your inner divine? Perhaps even your inner Goddess.

Speaking of Goddess, number 13 is a feminine Goddess number and a patriarchal society has us convinced it is unlucky. Yet another way of controlling the magic. Get in touch with "13". Today is the day to do it. It's Friday too! Double trouble supposedly. And no coincidence the movie is released today. Big things happen always on energetically charged dates! After all, it could have been released on Valentine's Day, but no!

  5. This is an interesting perspective. I've read quite a lot recently on the controlling/abuse nature of these books and it is refreshing to think of it in a different way. I must admit, I did find the writing style of the three books annoying but I think they will sort that out in the film.

  6. I've been very surprised at the negativity surrounding the books...I obviously interpreted them completely different. Thought provoking post

  7. Now this is a totally new take on the 50 shades and I love listening to you, how you put your thoughts forward, I shall definitely be visiting your links but I won't be reading those books as I just couldn't get into them. The bad writing kept irritating me and ruining my reading flow. I gave up and slung it in the bin

  8. to be honest i loved the book but the making of a film seems to make it even more sordid in my eyes, a pitty if you will , not only because it can be seen but the fact that others who imagined it to be a romantic state in the book will now hopefully see it isanything but romantic

  12. This is interesting. I haven't read the books although I did download the first chapter of the first book on my Kindle to see what all the fuss was about. I didn't bother downloading the rest so I can't have enjoyed the first bit I guess.

  15. I enjoyed the books but I do think people have forgotten that it is a love story, yes it has sex scenes in it, quite grapically detailed, but the over riding message for me is a love story.... boy meets girl, girls likes boy, boy pursues girl, they get together and begin to find one another x

  16. I have to admit, I have never read the books. Is it wrong that I want to see the film?

  17. An interesting read. I haven't read the books but agree whole heartedly that female sexuality has been oppressed, controlled and commercialised by a patriarchal society and we so need to take control of it back

  18. Interesting perspective. I read the first book and didn't think much of it! xxx

  19. I've not read them I'm afraid, I'm just not into that type of thing it has no interest for me, give me a thriller everyday lol

  20. This is such a great, different way to think about these books. I haven't read them, but who knows, maybe I'll give them a try now!

  21. Loved reading this. The sacred feminine has always been worshipped as part of Hindu philosophy, but expression in real life is sadly lacking. I was first intrigued with the concept after reading The Da Vinci Code. The bit about Friday the 13 and the podcast was a revelation. Thank you.

  23. Interesting post which I enjoyed reading. I definitely agree that changes at home start with the woman. I've been through this recently myself, without going into too much detail. And I've read the 50 shades books, I enjoyed them although I did become slightly bored! I was intrigued by their relationship I suppose! I was also very jealous of the billionaire lifestyle she had with him!! ;) I will go and see the film too at some point! x

  24. Really interesting points! I've never read the book so don't feel like I can comment until I have but I've read a lot of articles about the controlling aspects of it which does sound a lot like abuse but again I can't really have an opinion seeing as I've not read the book!
