I think the photos say it all really - as Aaron is mixed race I took him to a black barbers who combed out his hair so as to do it with the electric trimmers (if wet it could be done with a scissors) which kept his afro intact despite it now being WAY smaller:
I'll have to take an "after" photo at some point.
I am missing his 'fro already but as you can see above it was dry and sun-bleached. Looks healthy now.
I hope I haven't weakened him by cutting his hair :-(
Having mixed feelings about it as I really miss his 'fro which was part of his growing personality...
