Hi
I don't often blog about Aaron's eating habits and I should. Plus it's too long since I posted a video.
I was inspired by this post at Grumpinator - The Wean Machine.
Aaron loves blueberries (whole), bananas (in discs - see video), grapes (peeled) and clementines/satsumas (segments peeled).
Aaron's now nearly 11 months. This video was taken back in March when he was 9 months.

Car Seat for a 9 month old
Hi
Well I am very happy. I have had it at the back of my mind for months that Aaron needs to go up to the next car seat.... In December I was happy to stretch things out as we spent 3 weeks in Ireland in January and you can't beat the convenience of a carry handle car seat.
Anyhoo! moving on.... I could not decide and felt stressed every time I thought about it.
Aaron was weighed at 10.41 kg on 21st March so it's definitely time to move on, and he's 9 months....
Anyway I am really glad I have stalled as I just got the car seat of my dreams for the price of my dreams....
This car seat does 9 months to 11 years!!!!!!!!!! and is currently on offer with Mothercare.
£40 off AND 10% off, so it's only £107.99 when the RRP is £159.99
See here: Mothercare next stage car seat offer BUT DON'T FORGET TO ENTER THE CODE AT THE CHECKOUT TO GET THE 10% OFF. J4AP
This offer's on till 17th April 2011.
This is not in any way a sponsored post... I wish!!! I am just happy with my bargain.....! My one reservation was that 2 of my favourite bloggers had blogged about car seats a few months ago so I went back to their blogs in case they had blogged about a better car seat, but luckily (look at this review) it's the same one..... Lucky "Mummy's Little Monkey" got hers provided - wish I did!
I purchased the Britax Evolva Plus 1-2-3 Car Seat - Jet
Very happy with my purchase. Click here and then click "view video". If you watch the video you may just love it as much as me, and I haven't even seen it in the flesh yet.

Today's Status
Hi,
well due to the diarrhoea last night, my Sister-in-law who's a paediatrician has recommended staying off the formula today, and only having breast milk, dioralyte and maybe toast. May also try banana later.
Aaron's in a good mood, just doesn't have his normal energy.
I will keep editing the below as the day goes on.

A step back
After writing the post about Aaron's sickness, I thought he was getting better today. Nothing coming out either end, BUT very weak.
However, at 10 p.m. he had explosive diarrhoea
yet won't accept any fluids.... and is now asleep.... not good. Yet another change of clothes for baby and mummy. The washing's stacking up...
Fingers crossed he's a little better after a night's sleep.....

Ideal Home Show
Hi
We went to the IHS today. The main highlight was the Corrie House. On the one hand I liked it (queued for long enough) but on the other, I was a little disappointed.
Highs
That photo above is taken by me, but I am taking a picture of the mirror.... yet it came out so clear. I had to hold the camera away from my face to see what I was capturing in the mirror. My Silent Sunday (27th March) is a close up, where you can't see the frame of the mirror, and there is no blur or haze, you can't even tell it's taken in the mirror. It's confusing actually.... me photographing me, photographing me.... a picture of a picture of a picture..... Is it just my newly acquired baby brain, or is it indeed a brain fuck???? (Excuse the language I don't usually swear).

Highs
- The fab footage of old fab storylines being shown to us in the queue.
- Seeing the upstairs of the Barlow's house.
- Some great photos on the Rovers' Return wall.
- The queue.
- The emptiness of the Rovers. (Just a place to queue).
- The fact that the modern version of the Barlow's house had no personal possessions in it - are we to believe they redecorate and leave their photos down?
- There was something missing... can't put my finger on what...
- It was shockingly hot at the whole show. Aaron ended up in vest and jeans...
Born Free bottle while Mum ate lunch.
Sparko!
Cardboard Ken in Rovers
Photo wall in Rovers.
Ken and Deirdre's bedroom.
Their boiling cupboard.
Their bathroom.
Is this Tracy and Amy's bedroom?
The knocked through kitchen diner.
Flash kitchen.
Snazzy sitting room.
Ken's bedroom's now ensuite.
Photo of mirror in loos - us babywearing.
STUNNING water feature!
